scariest day of my life!

just some cute pictures of my boy that i took yesterday while he was being funny. normal uneventful day. i love those days and today was not one of them.
so this morning after breakfast dominic and his cousin kaden where getting pretty rowdy and rambuncious like little boys do and they climbed up on our fire place and where jumping off. i didn't think much of it because it's not very high and they were jumping out towards the living room where there is only carpet but obviously i should have told them to stop. i suck. so anyways dominic is really hyped up and jumps off toward our entry way instead of toward the living room and our entry way is made of tile which steps down to the carpet in the living room and dominics momentum carried him forward pretty hard and he hit his head on the corner of the tile step resulting in what you see below.

" it's not as bad as it looks" does not apply to this injury atleast not for me. you should have seen it before they pulled his head back together with the stitches i have never seen anything like it. it wasn't like a cut where the skin is just sliced but a hugh open gash. there was a hole in his fore head that was about an inch and a half long and half an inch wide and very deep.
he did great though with all the craziness that was going on around him the only times he cried was when the ems guys took him away from me and put him in his car seat for a ride to the emergency room and when the doctor stuck a needle in his cut SIX times to numb the area. he did not like that at all which i don't blame him but he did great while they were putting the stitches in. the doctor said it was usually like world war three when he has to do that but dominic was a tough little boy.

here he is enjoying his mcdonalds happy meal that his dad just had to get him on the way home from the emergency room.

sharing his spoils with kaden his partner in crime.
