my parents came to visit me for my birthday and i asked my mom to make me cinnamon rolls for the big day. as you can tell from the above picture dominic really enjoyed them. a couple times he ate a whole one all by himself. i'll get some meat on those bones yet.
it's so nice when your parents come and stay with you. i don't think i heard dominic cry once because he was always being played with or held. i also didn't wash one dish. i miss you guys already.

dominic's really into pick-a-boo right now. here he is hiding and below is when he popped his head up but he poked himself in the eye so it looks like he is winking at me. for a better boo picture that's what he is doing in the picture at the top of my blog. he thinks he is hilarious, just like his dad.
this is what our christmas morning looks like i don't have any pictures of dominic yet because it's almost nine thirty in the morning and the stinker is still asleep. jacob and i woke up early because we were so excited to watch him come out and see his presents and the little jerk won't wake up. he did have a pretty crazy night last night and stayed up pretty late but nine thirty is ridiculous which is why i have been blogging all christmas morning to take my mind off the fact that i have been up for hours waiting for my sleepy head of a son to wake up so we can open presents!
this kid loves to run! exspecially when he is outside and he gets really excited but our driveway goes down hill and for someone as small as he is it's pretty steep needless to say he can get going faster than his little legs can carry him. this is actually his third bloody lip on our driveway is just has never been very bad but he knocked himself real good this time, poor boy.
the very next morning he was running in the kitchen and hit his head on the edge of a shelf. i felt so bad for him he had the biggest goose egg all day and on christmas eve too!
kylee likes to dump all the blocks out in the hall because they make alot of noise and the boys get really excited and start yelling, screaming, and laughing. a video would showcase this better but i didn't think to take one maybe next time.
so dominic is getting to the stage where he tries to do everything that i do. well this week i had to weed the flowerbeds (isn't that ridiculous, weeding in december) and dominic obviously didn't realize that that is something you don't enjoy doing. in these pictures he is just picking grass by the sidewalk because i went inside to get the camera but most of the time he was in the flowerbed right next to me or in front of me trying to pull the weeds. it was so gosh darn cute!
this are the christmas card i made for this year. it is the first time i have done christmas cards and i am proud of them so i am showing them off.
it is amazing the amount of time a small child can spend playing with a stupid box and be blissfully happy.
one of dominic's favorite toys at grandpa and grandma's. it is amazing to me how fast a one year old can learn how to do something. the first time we put dominic on this he just look at us like what is going on? but the next day he was getting on and off by himself and rocking that horse like crazy.
severin monopolized most of dominic's time and if he wasn't holding him he was never very far. the girls were in an uproar about it. he'll have his own little one to hold in four months.
dad thought dominic would make the perfect angel to go on top of the tree. i have to agree. he is pretty angelic.
